New Patients at Care More Chiropractic

Trying chiropractic for the first time? You probably have a few questions about what to expect. At Care More Chiropractic, we like to keep things simple.

Your first step can be a complimentary consultation, a relaxed, one-on-one conversation with Dr. Kristen Welsh about your history, concerns, and goals. There’s no exam or adjustment at this stage. If you decide you’d like to move forward, we’ll explain what comes next, including an exam and X-rays if needed.

Getting Ready for Your First Visit

Filling out your new patient paperwork ahead of time can save you a few minutes when you arrive. Remember to bring a photo ID and your insurance card if you have coverage.

For your first full visit, plan on about 45 minutes to an hour. An uncomplicated case may take closer to 30 minutes. You’ll meet directly with Dr. Welsh, who personally performs every exam. She’ll take the time to learn more about what’s bothering you, when it started, and what may be behind it. On-site X-rays may also be taken if necessary.

Your Report of Findings

At your next visit, you’ll sit down one-on-one with Dr. Welsh again. She’ll walk you through what she found, explain where the problems are, and discuss her recommendations for moving forward. This visit usually takes about 30 minutes.

This is also when we’ll go over the financial side of your care. Our practice is in-network with many major insurance companies and accepts Medicare. Health Savings Accounts may also be used, and the practice works with patients referred through the VA.

Making Visits a Little Easier

Same-day appointments are often available. While scheduling ahead is best, we’ll do our best to accommodate walk-ins when we can. You’ll also find plenty of free parking right outside our office.
